GilledIt is a free social fishing app for American anglers. It combines catch logging, an interactive fishing map, a buy-and-sell marketplace, weekly challenges with leaderboards, and a social feed, all in one mobile app.
We’re Anglers Who Got Tired of Losing Track of Our Catches
We’re the team behind GilledIt, a group of fishing-obsessed developers who got tired of losing track of catches, arguing about PBs with no proof, and scrolling through forums that looked like they were built in 2004.
After another session where we caught a personal best and then couldn’t remember the bait, the spot, or even the exact weight two weeks later, we asked ourselves: why isn’t there an app that does all of this properly?
We tried everything. Scattered phone photos, Excel spreadsheets, forum posts that disappeared into the void. Nothing worked. So we decided to build GilledIt, the app we wished existed when we started fishing.
