Delete your GilledIt account

You can delete your GilledIt account and its associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1: In the app (fastest)

Open GilledIt and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion takes effect immediately.

Option 2: By email

If you can no longer access the app, email hello@gilledit.com from the email address registered to your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request belongs to you and action it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account, profile, catches and catch photos, messages, marketplace listings, saved addresses, and avatar are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.

What we keep, and why

Records of completed marketplace transactions are retained for as long as tax and consumer law require, then deleted. They are no longer linked to a usable account. If you have an active listing or an in-progress sale or purchase, you will be asked to close it before the account can be deleted, so nobody is left mid-deal.
