About Woodlakes Park

Woodlakes Park is a 66 acre holiday park fishery at Stowbridge near King's Lynn in Norfolk, with five lakes including the ten acre Cabin Lake where you can fish straight from a Norwegian log cabin. The stock covers common, mirror, leather, linear and ghost carp with bream, tench, roach and perch, plus pike in Cabin Lake. Day tickets are listed at £30 covering any open lake, while night fishing and the exclusive Championship Lake need a current membership. The Woodland Kitchen and Bar feeds sessions on site.

Details gathered from public sources. Confirm with the venue before travelling.

The lakes

Five waters spread across the 66 acre park. Cabin Lake is the flagship at around ten acres and six feet deep, fished from the cabin side. North Lake and Two Pole Lake give three to four acres each of mixed coarse fishing, Stow Copse is a three acre S shaped pit, and the Championship Lake is reserved for members only.

Tickets and membership

The day ticket is listed at £30 and covers the open lakes for the day, with guest tickets available. Annual membership discounts entry, unlocks night fishing across the park and adds exclusive access to the Championship Lake. Night sessions strictly require a current membership card, so day anglers should plan to pack up at dusk. Confirm prices with the park before travelling.

Rules worth knowing

Two rods per angler is the standard, rising to three on the Championship Lake and a maximum of four from a cabin swim. Barbless hooks apply everywhere except the Championship Lake, which runs micro barbed only. Braided main line and leadcore leaders are banned, landing nets must be at least 42 inches, and bait boats are limited to Cabin Lake and the Championship water.

Staying over

The park is as much a holiday venue as a fishery, with Norwegian log cabins on Cabin Lake where the fishing starts at your decking, plus holiday homes, free kayaks and the Woodland Kitchen and Bar. Hornsea style beach days are out, but the Norfolk coast at Hunstanton is an easy drive.
