About Pea Lane Fishery
Pea Lane Fishery is a Becmain Angling Society water at the junction of Dennises Lane and Pea Lane in Upminster, on London's eastern edge. The lake is a former gravel pit dug during construction of the nearby M25 and was taken on by the society in 1989, when swims were cut, trees were planted and roach, bream, tench, carp and perch went in. Those fish have matured well, with bream to 12lb, carp to 28lb, tench to 10lb, perch to 4lb and roach to 2lb recorded. Day tickets are sensibly priced for two rods, hooks must be barbless and night fishing is not allowed; a valid rod licence is required.
