Howbrook Reservoir is a club-run stillwater off Westwood New Road at High Green, on the northern edge of Sheffield. The reservoir has long been fished for its tench and a head of big bream, and carp of 3lb and upwards have been stocked in recent years, partly to protect them from cormorant predation.
